01Platform Usage

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account on Sequanza. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By registering, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Any activity under your account is your responsibility. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

Acceptable Use

Use Sequanza for its intended purpose: reading, publishing, and discovering webcomics. Do not attempt to disrupt the platform, scrape content in bulk, impersonate others, or use automated tools to manipulate views, ratings, or subscriptions.

02Creator Content License

You Own Your Work

Creators retain full ownership of all content they publish on Sequanza. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your comics, illustrations, stories, or other creative work.

Display License

By publishing content on Sequanza, you grant KLYTICS LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform and in marketing materials related to Sequanza. This license exists solely to operate the service — it does not transfer ownership.

No Exclusivity

Sequanza does not require exclusive publishing rights. You are free to publish your work on other platforms simultaneously. If you remove your content from Sequanza, our display license ends, and we will remove your content within a reasonable timeframe.

03Prohibited Content

The following types of content are not allowed on Sequanza:

• Explicit sexual content. Nudity and graphic sexual depictions are not permitted on the platform, regardless of artistic context.
• Pirated material. Uploading content you did not create or do not have authorization to distribute is strictly forbidden. This includes scanlations, rips from other platforms, and unauthorized reproductions.
• Hate speech. Content that promotes violence against or dehumanizes individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
• Content depicting minors in harmful situations. Any content that exploits or endangers children in any form.
• Malware or spam. Content designed to deceive users, distribute malicious software, or disrupt the platform.

We review flagged content and reserve the right to remove material that violates these rules. Repeated violations will result in account suspension or permanent removal.

04DMCA Takedown Process

KLYTICS LLC respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe content on Sequanza infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice.

Filing a Notice

Send a written notice to dmca@sequanza.io that includes: (1) identification of the copyrighted work, (2) the URL of the infringing content on Sequanza, (3) your contact information, (4) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized, and (5) a statement under penalty of perjury that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf, along with your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-Notice

If your content is removed and you believe it was taken down in error, you may file a counter-notice. We will forward your counter-notice to the original complainant. If no court action is filed within 14 business days, we will restore the content.

Repeat Infringers

Accounts that receive multiple valid DMCA complaints will be permanently terminated.

05Revenue Share

Creators earn 70% of net revenue generated from their content. This includes subscriptions, chapter unlocks, and tips collected through Sequanza. KLYTICS LLC retains the remaining 30% to cover platform operations, payment processing, and infrastructure costs.

Payouts

Earnings are calculated monthly and paid via Stripe. You must have a valid Stripe account connected to your creator profile to receive payouts. Payouts are issued for balances exceeding a minimum threshold as stated in your creator dashboard.

Transparency

There are no hidden fees or virtual currency conversions. All earnings are calculated in real currency and reported in your analytics dashboard. If we change the revenue split, we will notify all creators at least 90 days in advance.

06Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at legal@sequanza.io and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, any dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in Puerto Rico under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Each party will bear its own costs. You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action.

07Termination

By You

You may close your account at any time through your account settings. If you are a creator, outstanding earnings will be paid out according to the normal payout schedule. Published content will be removed from the platform after account closure.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. In cases of serious violation (such as publishing pirated content or harmful material), termination may be immediate and without prior notice.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ends. Provisions that should survive termination (such as content licenses already granted, dispute resolution, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.
